Great list, great inspiration (even though I’m not an iPhone developer), thanks!
I’d add “Spots – the WiFi Directory” for its design. I think it’s fascinating how they managed to find a style where everything is blue but still obvious what’s important. I love it!
Thanks Daniel for the great suggestion! Spots looks good. Is it worth buying?
Definitely. I used it successfully in Chicago and in the Bay Area. While there are some access points missing, I always found free WiFi using my iPod Touch. The killer feature is that all hotspots (half a million) are included in the app so you don’t need to be online to find one.
Wow, you’re right — being offline and be able to browse wifi spots is dead-on a killer feature. Thanks again!
